1. Bloodborne
   
   A from software masterpiece combining the classic souls gameplay with an awe inspiring gothic setting. 10/10

2. Red Dead Redemption 2

A western epic, stunning visuals, an insane level of detail. A living open world with so much to do. Bravo Rockstar 10/10

3. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Geralts last dance? The best proper RPG of this generation. If you’ve not played this by now what aer you even doing?

4. Persona 5 R

A heartfelt and wonderful journey and the best JRPG of this generation. Play this game!

5. Dark Souls 3

The end to the DaS trilogy coming in at number 5. I could of put this at number 1 or 2, From Software do not miss.

6. Ghost of Tsushima

A beautiful game with extremely well polished gameplay and a full on Samurai/Ninja power fantasy

7. The Last of Us: Part Two

A brilliant and intense story with the gameplay to match. Still gutted theirs no multiplayer.

8. Resident Evil 2

A brilliant remake of the original. Close to being my favourite Resi of all time.

9. Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain

No top games list is complete without some form of Metal Gear. V may be my least favourite in terms of the story or set pieces but it has the best gameplay.

10. Fallout 4

Rounding out the top 10 is the synthetic human infested post apocalypse classic Fallout 4.

11. Monster Hunter World

A massive leap forwards graphically for the mon hun series, this was a banger.

12. Sekiro Shadows Die Twice

FromSoft goes full shinobi. No builds, no summons just skill. It is unforgiving but also one of the most rewarding.

13. Days Gone

Bit of an underrated gem. Deacon’s story hits harder than expected, and mowing through hordes of freakers on a bike never gets old. Remaster is out now support these guys we need a sequel!

14: Uncharted 4

Nathan Drake’s swan song. Big action, big heart, and the most polished Uncharted yet.

15. Spider-Man

One of the best superhero games ever made. Web-slinging through NYC has never felt so good. A love letter to Spidey fans with top-tier combat and storytelling.

16. Titanfall 2

The most underrated FPS of all time. A flawless campaign and some of the slickest shooting and movement in any shooter. Piloting Titans and taking them down never gets old.

17. Batman Arkham Knight

The epic finale to Rocksteady’s Batman trilogy

18. Ratchet & Clank

A perfect blend of nostalgia and modern action, this reimagining brings the original adventure to the PS4 with stunning visuals and inventive weapons. Fun for newcomers and longtime fans alike.

19. God of War

A solid God of War Game however I still prefer the greek trilogy

20. Destiny

Last but not least, this game ushered in the new generation. It was brilliant, the raids were brilliant the pvp was on point. I lost the love with D2 but the OG was so good.
